Manufacturer's Warranty

Selected weekly non-food specials have a warranty lasting anything from 12 months to 5 years. If a Specialbuy is faulty, it can be returned for up to 12 months with or without a warranty.

There's an information plate on the back of lots of these products and in the product manual that gives you all the details should you need to get in-touch with the manufacturer.

Returning grocery items

ALDI's refund policy and manufacturer's warranty do not affect customers' statutory rights.

If you wish to return a grocery item, please refer to Box A below.

(A) Returning grocery items

If you are not entirely satisfied with an item from our grocery range you can return it for a full refund, simply bring it back with your receipt.

Returning Specialbuys

Many of our special buys come with a manufacturer's warranty that can last anywhere between one and five years.

(B) Returns with manufacturer's warranty

Within 60 days

If your Specialbuy is faulty and you purchased it less than 60 days ago, as a first step call the manufacturer's helpline and an experienced operator will take you through your options.

However if you simply change your mind, you still have time to return the item and receive a full refund or exchange, as long as you return it within the 60 day period, with your receipt and its original packaging.

Outside 60 days

Outside the 60 day return period, ALDI does not offer an exchange or refund if you simply change your mind.

If your purchase falls outside the 60 day return period and your Specialbuy is faulty, then we recommend that you contact the manufacturer's helpline for assistance and an experienced operator will take you through your options.

If you're returning an item without a manufacturer's warranty, please refer to Box C below

(C) Returns without manufacturer's warranty

Within 60 days

As long as you return your Specialbuy within 60 days of the purchase we will refund or replace any item. Simply bring your purchase back with your receipt and in the original packaging.

Outside 60 days

Outside the 60 day return period, ALDI does not offer an exchange or refund if you simply change your mind.

If your Specialbuy is faulty, return it with your receipt (or other proof of purchase) within 12 months of purchase and we will gladly exchange it or give you a refund.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
